This is so interesting. I often have trouble with deciding on how much variation to include to avoid too much sameness but not veer into too much variation where cohesiveness starts breaking down. I would have probably stuck to one method for all my shading with the different greens (hence my tendency toward too much sameness) but using all the different ways of shading/highlighting the different areas of green totally works! It provides the exact variety needed to distinguish all those different areas of green from each other and keep it interesting. Eureka moment--lesson learned. Thank you!

Really enjoyed your video. Never colored so I learnt quite a bit, adding the different greens together and using markers.

When you first turned to this page I thought, "Geeze!" Being a beginning colorist I was at first intimidated by the magnitude of the work set before us. But with your soothing voice and easy teaching style, you totally disarmed any remaining intimidation! Thanks for this!

This is a great idea to have variegated leaves. The fact that all are created wits the same pallet is really neat. Thank you.

Your colouring is beautiful. Your colours seem to be very pale, is that the lighting or do you keep your colours pale? Thank you for the video
