Hi Bitty. Hubby's Father’s Day card turned out amazingly. I felt your frustration in the beginning of the live and honestly couldn't blame you. TFS that beautifully, inspiring card. Loved it. Have a fantabulistic weekend. God bless. ❤🎉❤

I learn from her leaving these times in because we feel the same at times and it helps to see how to work through it.

Great card, Tobey! And I have those dies too! Big surprise , I know. I still need to make my two Father’s Day cards - one for dad , one for hubby. Working on them tonight and tomorrow. Yes, last minute is never ideal!

I bought magicals for the first time at a Stamp show at the end of April. I bought 3 tubes. I believe we have 2 in common. I tried every color, and maybe 5 pieces of water color paper from what was on the lids alone. I shared your disappointment, until I started using them. I got them 20% off in person so no shipping. I ADORE the shimmer!! I think they are more pigmented than my brushos and I love my brushos!!!

Cool. Jesse, how do you use yours? Mine are like a super fine milled powder and they don’t seem to sprinkle well. I don’t want to use them for water-coloring, but will try to keep exploring how I can use them.

@@BittyPenny I gave tips in the next comment I made on dispersing the powder. I spread mine and use less water than I do with brushos. I don't think I mentioned the end of a pallette knife and tapping. Like all the other ones, it only takes a little powder. I think they work better flat instead of holding the paper up to move them. My suggestion would be small spoon (TINY spoon), or pallette knife and small amounts of water being sprayed or dripped until you like what you get.

After watching more of the video, here are tips. Don't use a fan brush. If you use a brush, a cheap kids brush actually delivers pigment well. Use something like the handle end of a plastic spoon so you can put out tiny amounts in a smallish area. You can tap the spoon handle like your brush. You can buy the tiny little spoons used for things like mica powders They sell them in sprinkle containers, but I think those are more expensive. I'm also a big fan of using brushos as a base, letting them dry, then adding a little of the magicals with a little water I suggest not over watering. I didn't get the suggestion sheet. I now want to try them with alcohal!!!!! I found that the colors were NOTHING like the lids! What sold me was seeing the samples in person. I too wanted shimmer ones!!! The cosmic cricket ones are interesting, but have their challenges too.

also, I know lots of people like Lindys, but I am perfectly happy with my nuvo powders that come in a bottle that you can shake out of, maybe something to check out
@emilydruhot29493 ай бұрын
They have bottles that are called glitter misters or something like that, you can put glitter or any powder in them and then there is a nozzle that you can shoot the powder out of, maybe try that. . . .Just a thought

I happened to see a video by Ardith today. She used the Lindy’s magical sand it looked like she had them in sprinkle bottles. Check it out.

You could put them in a small bottle and punch a hole in the top.
