Outstanding explanation of hall sensors and how to use them to design an Escape Room game. I have been using reed switches pretty heavily but will reconsider the use of hall sensors.

Reed switches can be held open or closed from their normal starting state, I have got two types, Normally Open and Normally Closed types

@@staciefolk678 I did not, I believe I ended up just studying it from the video and recreating something similar on my own, this puzzle is pretty straight forward in terms of coding so it wasn't hard to do.
