This is so inspirational. 💖💖 I used to love drawing, I did it as a way to self soothe, and because I I it so often, I was good at it. And then going to art school, I feel, absolutely destroyed that part of me. Something that once was done to bring me joy now brought me so much anxiety. After watching this, I'm going to try drawing again, with no pressure, and just for the sheer joy of creation. The drawings will for sure contain unicorns and princesses! 💗

As someone who loves playing music, and then got a degree in it, I hear you. The pressure to achieve technical perfection can be crushing. You become so focused on the details, you forget to have fun. It wasn't until I found a "jam group" that I found the fun again. But it will happen. And we love unicorn princesses!

Your unicorn pet!! 😍 one of my kids got the pony one such a fun toy. Don’t know who was playing more with it 😎 I have some toys from my childhood - books, Schleich animals, Monchhichi, DVD’s. I’m definitely reliving my childhood through my kids omg kinetic sand - so addicting ( I would describe it like a fresh brown sugar minus the stickiness), Lego, Playmobil, colouring, so much fun stuff to play with. I completely believe everyone should find time to play - that’s my kind of meditation 🌟 Thank you for sharing Lisa !! 🦄 🧸

I love that you give yourself the permission and ability to play and collect toys. I’m 60 and have recently begun collecting stuffies, squishmellows, and other toys that just seem to want to come home with me. My most recent is a stuffed kiwi. My 20 year old grandchild was with me and laughed. “ The kiwi is coming home with us huh”. They also have enabled my playing and being a child. Thank you for normalizing this.

One thing I loved to do as a child that I "pull out" when I need to do some Inner Child work is, I'd take a blank sheet of paper and scribble all over it with a black marker. Then I'd try to find images in the scribbles and color those in. It's almost a sort of scrying exercise in a way. I hope that makes sense.

That was such fun. I was a seventies child, so my inner child likes shocking pink and hunter orange. I have a useful basket, I need to create a kit now. The cards keep telling me to follow my heart, focus on what gives me joy, and I think this might be the gateway to it.

What a great video, thanks 💕💕✨✨🌙🌙 i think i need to watch that intro like five more times. In my adult life i been told by many partners that im too innocent and sensitive for this world, and it was always said in a negative, degrading way.... but a few of your words made me realize that being innocent and sensitive doesn’t has to be a weakness it can be a strength... thanks for that, and thanks for bringing your beautiful, cheerful energy to this world. this is so helpful. i wasn't even very childlike when i was a child, and now i have a child and i feel like i don't even know how to play. but this gave me lots of fun ideas. I would certainly have a lisa frank pencil case for my markers! and just go shopping at a toystore, for myself (i do that sometimes actually). my son got his first happy meal the other day and that really brought me back, just the excitement for the toy.

What a cute pair - you and the unicorn. Almost as cute as you and Peggy:-D I can't believe you know all the ponies' names. Does everyone? I grew up in the USSR and the things you have in your toy box are things that I used to drewl over in Western TV commercials we illegally watched. Don't get me wrong, I had a super happy childhood and in many ways I'm very happy it was much less commercial than my nieces have now. And if I want a toy I can easily buy one now. After watching this video I will feel a bit less weird about it. And you know, I might just go and get myself my first ever pony or care bear. Thank you, your joy was lovely to see!

this video is everything! I have been going through a rough time lately and a few months ago I randomly and quite impulsively bought a soft little teddy bear that has little embroidered patches and mending stitches and under his foot it says Nobody is perfect. I keep him on a dresser in my bedroom so I see him everyday when I get up and it has just helped me in so many ways. Also something that really helps me tap into that sense of playfulness and joy is playing Animal Crossing! 💖 if there is one thing that has kept me sane during the pandemic it is that game and the community surrounding it!
