Very clear, thank you very much for creating this. I was about to purchase a couple pig tails, but after watching your video, knew I could build them instead.

Great video. Thanks for the tip about using the extra connector as a heat sink.

Sounds good I must check my stock i use a lot and like to plenty of xt60 available, i just had xt30 delivered for the first time and surprised how small they are

I use mostly XT30. You have to be extra careful when soldering XT30 because the pins you are soldering too will more easily melt the plastic connector and move so that you will not be able to plug into it later. It is very important to plug in the other half of the connector like I explain in this video when soldering to an XT30.

Yes it was great quick soldering and you didn’t burn your finger, they looked quite close to the heat gun

Yes, sometimes I get pretty close to the soldering iron, especially if I am filming a video involving soldering because I have to multitask to film.

Thanks a lot! What if my drone pig tail is 18, but my battery is 12... is it a problem?

I didn’t think you could buy xt plugs just one end, on ebay they always seem to be together as a pair
@IanBeaty4 жыл бұрын
Yes, just one side of the plugs can also be bought, often in quantities of 5 or 10. I just looked and GetFPV has XT60 plugs in sets of 5 for just one side. I have also seen that at other sellers.
