I noticed your new mold in your last video and checked out that company. I bought two molds and, yes, I told them you sent me. I can't wait to try them. Thanks so much!

Yasssss that’s how it’s done!! Your ITP Swirls are just wicked (fabulous)! When you pulled out the spoon for the top, I was grinning from ear to ear. You would have thought I was making it, lol love the spoon textured tops. Another home run! Thanks for sharing!

Simple and elegant. I notice you use black a lot. Do you do that to use fragrances that discolor or do you just like black. I think they are all beautiful. 🖤

I went to the link for the mold you use, but it looks like they only make tall skinny molds. I love your mold!! Would love to get one!!

Marjorie Pitzer That’s what mine is. The tall and skinny. LOVE IT!!!
@marjoriepitzer44536 жыл бұрын
the one on their site looks much different than yours though.
@OpheliasSoapery6 жыл бұрын
Marjorie Pitzer I asked for a white liner instead of a green. That is the only difference. I ordered the triple mold. They also have a double and single loaf mold too.

I might have to try this fragrance out because those are two of my favorite scents! Beautiful bars as always. I noticed this batter was a little thick - do you think having a thick batter helps with in the pot swirls?
@OpheliasSoapery6 жыл бұрын
I would say so. I think if it’s too thin the colors get too mixed together.
@lesleyjohnson33596 жыл бұрын
Just lovely! Do you water discount when you use titanium dioxide? I just got rivers in a recipe for the first time while using TD 😪
@OpheliasSoapery6 жыл бұрын
Lesley Johnson Oh yes. I use a very steep discount. Ever since I started doing that. I haven’t had any glycerin rivers. I use a 38% lye concentration which equals out to be about 1.6:1 water/lye ratio. Even when I used a 2:1 ratio I don’t believe I got them then either. 👍
@lesleyjohnson33596 жыл бұрын
@@OpheliasSoapery thanks. Yeah, my last batch was at about 41%. Your soaps are beautiful. I love watching your videos to relax.

Hi, I recently bought this same mold from workshop heritage but haven't used it yet. It came with dividers but I probably wont use them every time. Can you tell me how many pounds of oils it can hold?
@OpheliasSoapery6 жыл бұрын
Suds 'n Satin I calculated 120oz but I’m going to use probably 115. If I fill it all the way to the top the lid touches the soap.

Love this pour! The bars are gorgeous!! May I ask where you get your Bergamot? I am just about done with my 4 oz bottle but not to jazzed about the fragrance of it. It was from a company that is out of biz now. Thanks for your video!💞🌞💞
