I'm so glad you brought up that not all customers are looking for low cost baskets. I have difficulty making inexpensive baskets with quality items especially after multiplying by 3 even if the item cost $1 each in making it look worth the price. No matter what I buy, I keep my receipts! Thanks for the great advice!

Hey Shirley. Newbie here to your channel but not to making baskets. I want to ship baskets but most of my baskets have a handle on them and I use a bag with them, not the film and I put the basket in the basket. My problem is, I want to begin shipping these. I mostly build my baskets using cologne gift sets and spa sets. But these will turn upside down if the basket is turned over by ups. Thank you. Randy

Denice, your dilemma is similar to many new entrepreneurs, and the solution is to find the right people who want to buy. You're not reach out to the people who are willing to buy. The people you're trying to sell to are not your buyers. Expand your marketing. Good luck!

I was jut wondering, if I were to post my gift baskets on social Media as a Marketing tool and even a picture of my basket on a business card, if I had some things showing in the basket with a name brand, for example , if someone liked Dunkin's , and I put certain Dunkin's items in the Basket , is that a bad idea? Would I need to get permission from the company to have then in there?

Caroline, I neither saw your question nor received notification that you asked this question, which is why this response is terribly tardy. The answer is no, you do not need permission from a company. You pay for the product and have the receipt. That proves you legally purchased it for resale.

"Better" is subjective, Caroline. They may love your gift baskets, which is great, but they may not love the price of your gift baskets. Family and friends often expect huge discounts because of the relationship. I'm not stating that this will happen, but I am stating that the test may yield confusing results. Good luck!
