Great tutorial, thanks! Question at the end, after rendering your 360 image, what do you save it as? Just a jpg, tiff, etc or is there a way to create an hdri extension from the render?

Yep, you can use it as a JPG, but you may also save a Radiance Image File format which is HDRI .hdr
