I’m surprised you didn’t use the Terror Hill trolls from Forge Master miniatures. Those really look like the trolls from Rise of the Witch King. Though I can understand that these guys are a lot cheaper. Nicely done.

yeah they are nice but I had these spare so thought I would use them :). I think the cave troll with hammer from Medbury Miniatures is also a good choice. What are you working on?

Thank you buddy! when I get round to it and re-paint my Angmar they should match a lot of the spirits. The price is ace. If you think about it, for £12 for 4, with 3 maces and one sword. That could work out for Burdur and 3 trolls for £12. Unreal price. what are you working on now?

They look fantastic, the Dark Alliance monsters are really underrated for LotR proxies. Their Balrogs are nice too :)

Ah, Dark Alliance. I've been meaning to use the heavy undead or whatever they're called for Dol Guldur infantry, but the material was a major turn-off. The trolls look really nice man, good job on them. Only change I'd make is the colour, I'm a big fan of the old RotWK expansion for BfME2 and the murky jade/green colour they have in the game looks really nice on LotR trolls. I had the same idea of a troll band represented by the Angmar rules, Buhrdur and some trolls for the lads, some wargs and maybe a chieftain or two as hounds and pets, and maybe some runty orcs as minions and ambulatory last-resort rations.

As an avid Easterlings player I really want to see both a cheaper dragon emperor and an actual model for the war drakes! Haven't really found any 3d prints I like for those

yes the Dragon Emperor is super expensive. How do you envisage the War drakes to look?

@@windrushwargamers2745 None of the 3d prints I had seen looked fierce enough, I imagine them as something like a horned lizard crossed with a snapping turtle/Ankylosaur; big and bulky with a nasty front end and a long tail (maybe spiked?). I'd like to hear how you envision them too!

@@windrushwargamers2745 I think Angmar and Moria are perfect for exploration and conversion as so much of their ranges are weird beasties or in Angmar's case just not cohesive. I'm in between projects that have stalled out a little so I'm bashing out some scenery to get the crafting creativity flowing again.

@@markhanson9508 The Mini's look nice but the 1/72 scale might be too small if they are on the same table top as the GW minis. I've always found softer plastics like the Dark Alliance stuff doesnt take glue or paint well. How are they holding up since you did them?

Perfectly mate. I have played with them three times since the video came out and I am not the most careful player. It might happen down the line but they look fine so far:)

Found a spare Pippin I thought I lost, so might do something with him 🙂 non mini wise I'm working on a staff I started during the first lockdown, been half barked for years 😂
