Love the work you've done here. Unfortunately, I don't actually like the models Games Workshop made for the Black Numenoreans; they look too warhammer fantasy to me. My favourite are the variants with the iron skull masks, as they look similar to the ones from rise of the Witch King, and are also trying to hide their old identities.

@@windrushwargamers2745 absolutely. I've thought of the variations from Rise of the Witch King (who may have to be renamed "Black Arnoreans") using frostgrave cultists and some other bits, to get that leathery cold look. Possibly with some Perry Miniatures to get the two handed swords.

As an avid Easterlings player I really want to see both a cheaper dragon emperor and an actual model for the war drakes! Haven't really found any 3d prints I like for those

yes the Dragon Emperor is super expensive. How do you envisage the War drakes to look?

@@windrushwargamers2745 None of the 3d prints I had seen looked fierce enough, I imagine them as something like a horned lizard crossed with a snapping turtle/Ankylosaur; big and bulky with a nasty front end and a long tail (maybe spiked?). I'd like to hear how you envision them too!

the tea lights have screws on the underside. so I can get to the batteries that way

That would be cool. But honestly, I think that even if no-one picked it up we would be fine. The 3D market is booming for this hobby and people are already homebrewing their own profiles from the wider Tolkien lore.

I am gearing to do my first extensive kit bash to nurgle-ify my landraider and I was wondering what sort of approach you'd take to something more large-scale. Specifically, I'm wondering how much I ought to go in changing the dimensions of the model. I.e. having an arm or tentacle coming off the top or either side that would make it a great deal easier to see on the battlefield and making it harder to navigate through narrow areas.

Exiting times :) this is an interesting one. I think that the only way to go is the rule of cool. If you make what appeals to you it can't go wrong. But it is always good to have one eye on the playability of the piece too. But if further down the line you aren't happy with it for whatever reason (aesthetics or playability) , you can always go back in a change it. it's vague but I hope it helps :)

Since it's been a while a lot of new stuff also popped up. For the whole of Dunland faction you can mix and match and kitbash sets of vikings, saxons, germanics, gauls, dacians, persians and late romans from Victrix. Just mixing and handpicking the ones that fit the profiles of MESBG will already give you a good handful of miniatures for a good price and will look way more unique than you could ever hope for. Then you can add some more details to further focus on the resemblance and paint them to fit the appearances and voila!

Thanks Buddy! we used a magnetic sheet (bought from amazon). The kind that you might used to make a magnetic carry case. The whole floor of the chariot is layers with this to that it gets a good connection. Then small magnets are inserted into the feet. I hope this helps.

I've always found softer plastics like the Dark Alliance stuff doesnt take glue or paint well. How are they holding up since you did them?

For non-MESBG stuff I recently got some more Fallout models in Modiphius' Black Friday sale and I'm eyeing up that Tomb Kings box for when Old World launches, so plenty of projects to work on lol
