Really great work. What kind of foam do you use? Ever tried insulation foam and have an opinion on it? And do you use any kind of clear coat like mod lodge or polycrylic?

Thanks for subscribing and commenting Brick Something. I use styrofoam as it’s easy to carve, it doesn’t break up like polystyrene and it is quite strong. I haven’t tried insulation foam so I can’t comment on that really. I’ve only recently started using mod podge but I only use it if I want a smoother finish as it does give the styrofoam a harder outer shell which stops the surface from getting minor bumps and dents. For the Grayskull make, any debts add more character so I don’t need to seal it first. I use mod podge on the organic base video if you want to take a look.
