Can someone tell me why the I/4 of an inch is added on to the size of your box. I am new to calculating the size and I have to say I am not too clever at it. I don't know why my boxes don't fit. Thank you

Love these boxes, my craft room certainly needs sorting out. Just a thought, could you use the card that comes with Stampin' Up DSP and stick the DSP to it or would that make it too thick?

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I’m not a total novice but I’ve struggled making my cards. You’ve given me such joy watching your videos and understanding how to make them and your down home voice is so pleasing to listen to. I’m from Oklahoma and some presentations by others are difficult for me to listen to. lol 😂 I’m also appreciative of your explanations that you don’t need to buy the “kitchen sink” to craft. why do you add a quarter of an inch?

The quarter inch is added to allow for space on either side on your cards. If you card is 4.25” it would make no sense to make the box 4.25”. The cards would not fit. By adding 1/4” to the dimension it’s actually allowing only 1/8” on each side of the box…wiggle room.
