I'm so upset at how much STORY there is in Julia's drawing. There's like, a perspective thing going on in the final render that I love, where Simon is right in front of the camera? And Mario is walking behind him. A little something like this: ((sorry not sorry)) "What's wrong, dearest?" Simon says, seated at the kitchen table, enjoying a cup of tea after a long day at his utterly mundane job. Mario leans against the counter, staring into the middle distance past their immaculate subway tile backsplash. "It's-a nothing," Mario says with a sigh, but he knows it's nothing. The princess was in another castle... again. What good was he as a plumber, if he couldn't rescue one princess? "I'm going to go take-a the bath." Simon isn't buying it, but he knows better than to keep his beloved from self-care, and nods, glancing over his shoulder as Mario passes behind him on his way to the bathroom. "When you're done, we'll order take away and watch The Wonder Years together, how does that sound? The new one, that is, it premiers tonight." It's sweet of him to try, and Mario knows he's doing his best, so he musters a smile and nods. "Yeah... that's-a sounding like a good plan." "Love you dearest, enjoy your bath." A pause. "Love-a you too."

Since we use a base-10 counting system the lower digits (0,1,2,3) are the most frequently occurring, with the middle digits (4,5,6) being less frequent, and the high digits (7,8,9) being least frequent. One of the ways the IRS use to catch people cooking books is graph out the frequency of all digits present and if there's a higher/lower than average percentage for a number/multiple numbers they know there's something suspicious with the data set

hah that's wild! I'd never considered that but it makes sense that low single digits would be the most common. Unrelated, but you actually made me curious, so i did a search and stumbled across an article asking "What is your favorite number and why?" Nothing scientific, just a survey. The results of the 30,000 participants were interesting though. Things like "7.07, since the respondent used to always wake up at 7:07 AM, and once her shopping added up to $7.07 in front of the cute cashier at her local shop." Or "101, because it is the lowest whole number with an ‘a’ in it." Every integer up to 109 was at least one person's favorite number (lol no love for 110, i guess) but 7 dominated the charts with roughly 9.7% of respondents saying that that was their favorite. Personally, I'm not sure what my favorite number is. Not to be cliche, but 7? 13 maybe? I like superstitious numbers

At 4:00, julia asked something, and it was probably rhetorical, but mathematicians have an answer. The most frequent number that mathematicians are likely to write, according to the inferences of Bedford's Law, is 1
@JDM-is-my-name3 жыл бұрын
Interesting
@keoshine3 жыл бұрын
Bedford's Law only describes the frequency of leading digits of data sets that span multiple orders of magnitude.. It doesn't say anything about the frequency of digits that aren't leading digits..
@LuchM3 жыл бұрын
@@keoshine Yes, but mathematicians like Theodore P. Hill have expanded on what Bedford's Law implies such that it is true to say that "Bedford's Law also makes predictions about the distribution of second digits, third digits, digit combinations, and so on". Thus leading to the conclusion that 1 is the most common number to appear in a large data set, in this context, hand-written numbers.

Julia's drawing. Someone literally could have suggested the power of perspective i.e. a close-up shot of Simon as he wistfully walks past Mario in the streets. But we received something far more beautiful instead.

not sure if y'all have done something like this before or if it was just a dream, but consider: vaguely describing classic paintings to each other, which the victim then has to recreate. (for example: girl with a pearl earring could just be. like. "there's a lady looking over her shoulder at you. the background is dark.") i feel like y'all could get some real ominous results hehehe

Hello, I have (for maybe the way too many-th time) a Drawfee suggestion: "Impossible Coloring Challenge 2: Julia's Revenge" Speed draw time! Julia starts with a creation of her own making, along with instructions of light sources, textures, reflectivity, etc. AND THEN! (drumroll) Nathan, Jacob, and Karina (with a surprise appearance Caldwell!?!) render said creation to the best of their abilities. It'll be interesting to note the differences between each render.

Finally, I have an adequate episode suggestion! InspiroBot is an internet AI that generates random "inspirational" quotes and messages. I would LOVE to see the Drawfee crew tackle some of the chaotic nonsense it comes up with. Some gems I've seen include: "We have the power to make our colleagues wish they were somebody else." "In the future, everything will be horrible. So it's okay to believe." "Long shall he live, the student who owns his dinner, but the student who owns his wine must perish." "Behind every farmer stands a burglar." "You can take the word out of the ray of sunshine, but you can't take the ray of sunshine out of the word." "As soon as you forget how to wear him, you forget how to terrify him." "Paying a guy to live like a robot is the definition of traumatizing." They range from being plain absurd, to incredibly ominous to just straight up legit sometimes, but all of them give off such Drawfee energy that I NEED to see you guys interpret them. Gonna keep suggesting this from here on out btw...

Theyre the perfect balance of prophetic and nonsense, that get quite deep if you read a little into them. Makes you wonder how _'profound'_ "real" inspirational quotes are, just because they _sound_ wise 🙄 "Long shall he live, the student who owns his dinner, but the student who owns his wine must perish." *Alcoholism* "Behind every farmer stands a burglar." *Capitalism* "In the future, everything will be horrible. So it's okay to believe." *Nihilistic hedonism* "Paying a guy to live like a robot is the definition of traumatizing." *Existential Transhumanism*

I wanna see an episode were you guys have to combine to animals with another but there is a twist. Each one of you picks a animal, and then another one of your group picks a animal that you have to combine with yours. I think that would be really funny. Like Nathan picks himself a sloth, but there comes Julia and says she wants it combined with a blobfish. I would love that! Also love this video! I am now going to watch the rest of it :D Greetings from Germany!
