Canada has the best dollar stores! There are actual good supplies from $1-$4! Those horrible plastic brushes just shouldn't exist. Why discourage and punish children trying to make art? They need better supplies not worse. The better you are at making art the easier it is to use terrible supplies and still get decent results but there are limits. A great supply may be able to accomplish things a very cheap supply can't even do! I think after doing research It's Canada and Japan that have the best dollar stores! Thanks for the fun video! Also I prefer Matte to glossy, myself.

I live in Canada, and my daughter buys all her canvases and her acrylic paints at Dollarama. They have different sizes of canvases, and at only $4 the largest canvas they sell is pretty big. She also buys her acrylic paint there because it works great for a very particular technique she uses in her paintings. With art supplies generally costing quite a lot, she saves a lot of money by buying her canvases and paints there.

Great job! For me, you can't beat Apple Barrel Acrylic paint for a cheap alternative. It's a pound a bottle over here in our pound shops, occasionally you may find them on clearance at 2 for a pound. I've tried a few cheap paints over the years, especially when my daughters were small and they wanted to paint with 'Mummy'. I love the Grinch, never liked Jim Carey as an actor. However, that part was made for his manic face pulling, and postering walk. I loved Max, the poor suffering hound really made me laugh at the Cinema when the flim first came out. I know what you mean about the white paint. Believe it or not, it's the hardest paint to make, has the highest amount of pigments in it, and is the most expensive to produce. Thats why I have spent the most money on white paint over the years. Loved your picture, considering the cheapness of the paint you did a great job! Wonder what they would be like on paper, well Cardstock, or wood? Lol.. Maybe your boyfriend and yourself could do a Christmas challenge using them lol.. 👍😊♥️

What's with the attitude issue? It's obvious that she buys them for videos and making reviews, but it's still also obvious that it's a waste to not use the old stuff. Others aren't as lucky to be able to afford these things, and some of us might feel a bit sad that she doesn't seem to use them much! Again, no one is hating on her for it, it's just a pointer: "Nice for my bank" isn't really true in terms of "saving" in this case, but more cause she earns it on the videos. She's having fun, people are getting things reviewd and having something fun to watch, in the end - anyone understands what's going on. :) So, please, do take a step down from the anger-chair.
@jasmyng54946 жыл бұрын
@@Manicca I said literally two sentences. If you see anger in those two sentence then I think that says more about you reading too into things then me being "angry." I enjoyed this, I paint with watercolour, but I've always fancied trying acrylic but not the cost, now I've seen this I'm gonna do a dollar shop, shop and give it a whirl. Many thanks:)
