Shannon last week you mentioned that you don’t think straight people watch you and I do. I am not gay and I have been watching you since like 2015. I have seen all of the breakups…I can’t wait to hear all of these episodes and I clearly remember when you both became friends. This is insane.

Shannon is so kind. I hope the haters don't get to her. She tries so hard to do the right thing and doesn't want to hurt anybody but trolls still find complaints any time she tries to speak up for herself. The way Shannon has handled so many tough situations deserves respect and understanding but some ppl will never appreciate that. She has had such a meaningful impact on so many of us and somehow still does. ❤ It was so good seeing these 2 together again.

I remember going to some of the Love Is Love tour events. I thought that was such a good way to bring young people together in a safe and inclusive space. Several moms shared their stories with me and were thankful to you for helping their children. It was so emotional. I think several friendships were formed at those events. I wish we could do something like that again.

Great to see you back on YT! The podcast is fantastic. One small suggestion: I think it would be interesting for both your guests and viewers to hear and learn a bit from your side too, by incorporating more of your own thoughts and perspectives into the conversation. Though I completely understand your intention to give the floor to the guests. All the best!

i cannot tell you how much your presence on the internet has helped my mental health. not only when i was confused, queer teenager, but also now as a confused, queer adult. i’m so deeply excited about this podcast and renewed sense of community that comes at a time when i and so many others need it most. thank you for making things and sharing with us.

I’m obsessed 🥹 I want the episodes longer! Consider having your exs on the pod to talk about the different dynamics of the relationships. I’d love to hear/see you and cami talk about how your careers have changed since your breakup/last collab. Or see you and Cari talk about how the pandemic affected your relationship and how it has been with the music being put out!

I saw you freaking out yesterday on instagram, so I just want to say, breathe babe! It's going to be ok. I have been a follower since early youtube days, and it's great to see you more vulnerable and open. I'm loving it! So please don't stress because you're doing great and we can deal with any technical issues that might happen. I know this probably doesn't mean much coming from someone in NC that you don't know, but you're doing great, and you've got this! And I'm gonna watch this here like I didn't see it on spotify yesterday 😊

I hope she knows that having technical issues with podcasting is SO SO common. Like basically a right of passage. Figuring out the technology stuff is something podcasters talk about being frustrated with all the time. So much so that they hire sound engineers.

Thank you Shannon for speaking about your experience of having a disorganised attachment style - I do as well and it’s not something I hear spoken about by other queer women that often. In my case it’s stopped me from having long-term relationships, and so I tend to perceive anyone who’s been able to consistently have long-term relationships (like yourself) as having a secure attachment style, and usually compare myself to them unfavourably, feeling shame around my own difficulties with attachment. So to hear that you have a disorganised attachment style as well was a much-needed reminder that you can’t presume other people’s experiences, and that I’m perhaps not as alone in this as I think. I definitely have the same experience as you in tending to go in the opposite direction of however my partner is behaving.

Shannon! I know I'm late to the party but I finally made it through all your episodes so far and I'm LOVING it and so excited you're this active on socials again! You really are such great representation for the queer community and your podcast has brought me so many smiles and feelings of validation, I can't thank you enough for just being you. Was wondering if you could potentially have Halie Torris as a guest? She's a queer artist in Maryland so maybe it'd have to be similar to your Rose and Rosie episode but I think you guys could potentially have some good conversation about art and how both of you are involved in different forms of it. I just listened to Strictly Sapphic's episode with her on it and it was great. If you dont know of her, for sure check her out. Her art is just... wow. and sapphic. and beautiful. Regardless, so happy to be watching videos of you again and can't wait to see what else is to come. :)

OK, So I don’t know where to start and I soooo hope you read these comments. I am loving this podcast and I feel it’s so informative/helpful. I stumbled upon you/your work when I was seeking out information as someone who didn’t let herself be open to her queerness until I was 40 (Midwest Catholic gal), newly separated after over 20 years from my HS sweetheart and Father to my teen daughter. I would love to have a conversation with you about this transition as I really have so much to say about what I have learned and experienced. I truly feel it could not only help many, but also save them from wasting a lot of their life and missing out on a true, fulfilling, and happy life. It’s not easy, it takes a lot of work, but I am living proof that not only can it be done, but it is all worth it. I am not normally into sharing my personal life, and am still guarded in many ways, I just have this constant drive to tell my story in hopes of helping others. It’s the empath in me I guess (I’m a nurse), just looking for the right venue or opportunity. I know you’re demographic is probably younger, but more and more people are in my situation and probably would not have been if they would have dealt with these issues earlier and had someone like you to relate to or learn from. Hope you see this and would love to hear your input. Wishing you light, love, and continued success. 😊

Wish I had gone to the love is love tour. I felt it when you mentioned the cities like Indianapolis. I was actually living in Indy that year, but I am originally from a small town in Indiana. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without KZbin when I was in high school and college. The only reason I was able to discover my genuine self was through the internet. Without it Indiana is a hard place to discover yourself and feel safe doing so. especially in the smaller areas. I am definitely one of the lucky ones. I also was very fortunate to have an extremely supportive immediate family.
