I always put cash in envelope, seal it, write on envelope how much is in there. Then put in safe. Won’t stop from stealing everything, but most of stories you hear about motel safes involve staff taking some but not all, hoping you don’t notice

Can completely relate to this. Working and partying at the same time in Thailand isn't easy, eventually you'll get sick of it mate and learn to say no at least twice a week! Cost me my health after doing it for fu#king years, but still no regrets.

Its tough when you're young Mac you want everything all at once. The thing is you have a good channel. Its very well edited you obviously have a real talent. You need to put the hard graft in for the next 3/5 years then you will really reap the benefit. Its hard when young to look that far ahead but its all there for you. Its up to you Mac how much do you want it

I lived there for five years and yes it was very hard to stay focused, I ended up losing my house back in Australia, lost my online business, the only good thing was that I was young enough to return back to aus and get back to work . I was warned Pattaya was a little too much fun and to remember there’s only one Friday night in each week

Safe is like a magnet ... the safety level of them is low, better hide in the ceiling on the toilette or in a can , in shoes

Many hotels have safety boxes at the front desk to deposit money and give you the key. Room safes at better properties seem fine for passports, tickets, etc. But cash should probably be in a sealed envelope. Otherwise, we deal with travelers' checks hassle.

So what’s your plan Mac? You never got to it, or was it just doing some workouts in the gym? Seems to me if the landlord actually said “you can do whatever you want“ In those exact words, they must of been A falang & didn’t know the Thai rules. Anyway only 6000baht $175. I’ve had bigger bins than that. Nothing major. The last one doesn’t add up, firstly, surprise surprise, you leave valuables in a safe in Thailand or lots of countries and they went missing. And to take only 15000 baht ($440) and leave $2000 🤔

@@moshbvpeople that work within the hotel majority of the time know how to operate them or manipulate them I guess in case you forget your code, that’s why people recommend withdrawing the amount you need for the day and keeping it with you, can be very dodgy these maintenance staff and cleaners
