Making Beaded Keychains & Custom Charms

Hey guys! Today I am doing and art/craft hybrid project. I've been noticing these plastic and clay beaded keychains and phone charms trending on tiktok and pinterest. I decided to go ahead and make my own version! I am making some DIY keychains complete with custom charms. This is a really fun and easy way to make some cute accessories to fit your aesthetic and customize your phone and/or bags. I used shrink plastic to turn my original art into homemade charms. hope you like the results!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 26 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. Thanks for the awesome tip about using Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. I can't use UV resin anymore, because I developed an allergy to it...and that seems to be the ONLY glaze crafters are using these days. So learning this, and for shrink plastic, this makes me happy. Thank you. My skin thanks you.

The girl is Martine and the dog is Patapouf and the books are about a series of different things. Eg a birthday, summer, Christmas and more. I love those finished charms! They're so cute! I think I like the ice-cream one the most. It would really pop against and pale coloured bag. I think they'd look amazing as enamelled charms too. One day we're all going to sink a fortune into Moriah Elizabeth brand blind box charms, aren't we? 🤣

To answer your question, coloured pencils are wax based while the poscas are water based. This means the posca just sits on top of the wax and never bind together, so when it heats up and shrinks it separates. Not sure weather oil based paint pens would work better or not. Or maybe water colour pencils and poscas? Great video as always.
