I put canned sliced beets along with the juice in the can, into my blender. I drink it with 100% vegetable juice. I mix it 25% beet juice and 75% vegetable juice. I am 78 years old and in perfect health. I don't need glasses, hearing aid, cane or a crutch. My VA doctor tells me that I could easily live to 120. Don't that beet all.

Thanks Rick. I come from a part of the country where we make picked eggs in beet juice, vinegar, sugar and spices. The trouble is I usually have more eggs than juice. I never thought of making juice in a blender.

It's amazing what a spur of the moment video can do. This is still my most popular video on youtube today with almost a quarter of a million views. You all that have commented have been amazing and much appreciated. For the 2020 season, I will be adding in some of my favorite juice/smoothie videos from my garden. The Vitamix 7500 is still ticking without a hiccup. Highly recommended. It may be newer versions out by now but very happy with this.

Rick - your Vitamix running like a champ. I have one too. Never get rid of it. It will keep on ticking like the energize batteries 😊. A little tidbit of info - Vitamix is a 100 year old family company and they stand by their product with excellent customer service. If you ever have any problems they will gladly fix or replace. Happy juicing.

blending also oxidises the veggie way more than juicing, so the shelf life is a lot shorter, plus a slow masticating juicer is much gentler on the cells of the veggie, leaving the enzymes fully intact as opposed to high speed blending that oxidizes the living crap out of it. And your left with all that fiber still in it, the idea is to give your digestive system a break, which you don't when you blend, I want something i can drink, not a gloopy globy mixture.
@lindagibson7443 жыл бұрын
That blender functions like a juicer. He did not even have to strain its contents.

Wow. ♥ Love this video! I'm sure you thought EVERYONE knows how to make beet juice, but honest to God, I would have messed this up if I hadn't watched this first. I found this video in search of different natural remedies for high bp. Golly Gee Whiz I sure wish you were my neighbor here in my TN hills. Someone told me to take beet juice (just as you have here) add 1 vanilla yogurt cup, a bit of honey & reblend with 15 or so ice cubes. The result should be Something like beet ice-cream. ever tried it? ~ love from TN

( Liver and stuff.) Not sure what to add and not have only beets. I didn't like beets growing up as a kid but I am willing to change it up for healthy choices. Any suggestions for juicing with any add ins? Thank you!
@rickwyattdotnet6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Lisa. Much like you I disliked the taste of beets as a kid. Fortunately, my taste buds have changed but only for home grown beets. Store bought is still hard to stomach. If I have to go store bought though, I would drop in an apple and a pinch of stevia to get it more bearable.

I bought my Vitamix off of QVC or HSN website. You can spread the payments over some months (I dont remember how many but it was super affordable). While any decent blender will work, once you use a vitamix, It is a noticeable difference from everything else. Going on 2.5 years and still as strong as day one.
