I like how every country in the world has a simple leftover recipe like fried rice or pyttipanna in my country, very similar but with yellow onion, potoato and leftover meat (or sausage). Even though it is a dish from half-way across the world it looks like something my mom would cook for lunch.

I was telling my students about your videos this week. I stepped up my lunch boxes for my daughter. I used cookie cutters for her fruit and meats to make Christmas themed boxes. She focused more on eating and it made her very happy! Thank you for your videos and content. I loved seeing the Christmas decorations around Tokyo. These were all adorable and/or beautiful, but I think my favorite part was that you were trying to use them to make your husband feel better despite the stress he was experiencing at work (8:30). Our husbands definitely need our support, however we choose to express it. Maybe we can't always make their work situation better, but we can do little things to let them know we're in their corner and that we love them.

Just got back from doing a bit of Christmas shopping (hunted all over Target for a scarf and hat for my grandmother, lol. But it's still very warm where I'm at compared to where she lives, so I really had to go on a scavenger hunt to find them!. I heard that letting the meat rest will allow it to keep its juices and therefore be more tender. I'm not sure for how long, but maybe 10 minutes will do? Your meats always turn out so nice so I hope they will become even nicer

As long as it reaches a safe internal temperature, pork is actually okay to eat when it's pink. Oftentimes people end up overcooking their pork because they think pink = undercooked.

You should draw some salt and pepper on a piece of paper and stick it onto a cabinet or wall so that you don't forget to add them to the food! Don't worry, I forgot to add salt and pepper to a big batch of fried rice I made last week. It was still good but definitely would have been better with it!

I believe that bento is a concept of packing food into boxes and not related to any time of the food being eaten. In Hanako-san case, she make the bento for her husband so he can eat a meal at work during lunch break, but you can eat it anytime i guess

Thank you for your question. As Fahra said, Bento is a packed meal, or a portable meal. So you can eat it anytime you like! But I recommend keeping it in a cool environment to prevent bacteria from growing, and it's also recommended that the food be thoroughly heated and cooled before packing. Hope you enjoy Bento! はなこさんこんばんは！クリスマスのお弁当はとてもかわいかったです｡はなこさんはいつも飾るのがとても上手ですよ！（＾Ｏ＾☆♪ 僕は自分と友達のためにおいしいスープを作ったところです｡もうすぐ学期が終わり、家に帰って家族と一緒に冬休みを過ごすのを楽しみにしています。大学はとても忙しかったです｡(^_^;) 僕はクリスマスとハヌカの両方を祝うのが待ちきれません！٩(^‿^)۶ これらの弁当を共有してくれてありがとう｡

Very cute! .....I find these videos fascinating...I however don't have the time to craft these sorts of lunches for anybody lol no matter how much they mean to me I don't have the time or patience for this haha .... Very fun looking though!!
