Greetings I am new at making black walnut tincture. How long do you process it and how much do you take at any given time?? Do you wait for the walnuts to fall from the tree or do you pick them?? I process for 2 weeks- 3 weeks. I like to wait until they fall. I didnhowever just make an early batch. Usually I say 20 drops for a 150 lb. Person. Less if weighing less, more if weighing 20 or more pounds higher.

Great video! Answered a few questions I have been searching for like the alcohol burning off of hot tea... still trying to find out the exact difference between an alcohol based tincture and extract and a veniger based tincture. But for a while I had wondered if there was a way to evaporate the alcohol such as u mentioned with tea

Vinegar tinctures only work with softer plant parts, like leaves and flowers. The vinegar cannot extract the chemical constituents in harder plant materials like roots, and barks, and hard seeds.

How long does it have to ferment for?

Well- it is not really fermenting. It is extracting in the alcohol. But the process takes, 2 weeks.

Do you have to cut the hulls or can you put the whole hull in a large jar? How long does it sit in the jar before it's ready? Thank you 😊 Also should you add wormwood clove garlic or will plane work for antiparasitic?

Well- I think it's better to cut them up, but I suppose you could just put them in whole. 😏
