Hi Crane, Danielle from Northlawn flower farm shared your KZbin site this morning and i just subscribed to your channel. I believe eupatorium coelestinum is the blue perennial that you were cutting. lt looks like annual ageratum. Your bouquets are beautiful thanks for sharing your creativity. 😊
@cranerygardens Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for coming here and subscribing 🥰 Danielle is so sweet. Thank you for the latin name. I think it is. The shape slightly different to the cut flower variety, more loose but I love them and they just keep coming back every year without doing any work on them. 😊🥰❤️

I really enjoyed the walk about your garden while you tidied and cut stems for your arrangements. I must say I am also not a fan of Fall due to the shorter days and my favorite season summer being so far away.

Thank you very much 🙏🏻🥰❤️ my least favorite season but I start loving it. 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

Your flower arrangements are a perfect blend of color and variety and I like the simple jars with canning rings. From now on I will use those jars for Dahlias as the stems are sometimes short. You are a great teacher. Thank you so much. I found out about you from Danielle of Northlawn Flower Farm. Great use of Ageratum too, I have tons of it blooming now here in NC zone 7b. Please show us how it looks dried. I will try it. My drying racks are on the kitchen ceiling. Lets grow something beautiful. PS I found caterpillars eating my Bok Choi yesterday!

Awww 🥰 Thank you very much 🙏🏻🥰❤️ for watching and your comment. Yes, I will do in my next vlog video. Dry ageratum is awesome! But I’ll also show how they turn out too. 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

I think they are a type of ageratum (Eupatorium coelestinum) and they are natives for pollinators also called blue mist flowers.

Great video. Your flower arrangements are beautiful. Your dinner looked delicious. I couldn't believe all the deer. From a distance, I thought they were dogs in the neighbor's backyard. Are they wild or are they pets? No wonder you have to have a deer fence. :-)
@cranerygardens Жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 yes, they are semi wild haha. They wander around in the neighborhood. This is our neighbor backyard that they hangout and play every evening. The babies love playing a lot. They warm my heart.

Why do people strip the leaves and then use a green filler?
@cranerygardens10 ай бұрын
I think they stripe the bottom leaves. They use the tips of the green filler or some nicer looking leaves. 😊
