Wow, Crane, great video! I love the music, how you incorporated the floral arrangement (in the beginning of the video), watercoloring, cooking, etc. You sure put a lot of time and effort into this for us. Thanks! You are definitely multi-talented.

I like your sunflower collection. Also, maybe if you get together with some of your local gardening friends, you could all choose $20 worth of a zinnia variety and then share seeds. I like a lot of your music choices, but 9:52 made me immediately start to dance. LOVE THIS SONG! What is it??? Probably "I Got Love" 🤩

Aww. Sorry I missed the premiere. I was feeding our neighborhood cat, Sriracha (isn’t that a great name-she’s very spicy). I loved your little winter bouquet, such treasures. I think you should buy 1 or 2 Floret seed packets. Sunflower Steve’s seeds are expensive, too, but I think the price reflects all the years of work. I will be growing Cranery Gardens zinnias😊. Also, your massaman curry looked wonderful-that was the first Thai curry I ever had, back in 1989!

Thank you very much 🙏🏻🥰❤️ I didn’t do premiere today because I was running out of time. I think about the same too. I also bought Steve’s sunflower. I had to! Can’t wait to see Cranery Gardens zinnias gen 2. 😊🥰❤️

I think the Cranery zinnia seeds will be just as special and beautiful as Florets. Those prices are so high and add shipping to that. I don’t know. That’s a tough decision. I think I’m going to pass on them. I love how you walk through your garden and select whatever is green or in bloom and come up with the prettiest bouquets! You are a bouquet artist!! I wanted to ask what type of plastic you are using over your hooped ranunculus? Is it anything special. I have my corms started and have them in a cabinet in my garage. Last year a mouse ate everyone of them. Must be tasty!😊

Awww 🥰 Thank you very much Patti 🙏🏻🥰❤️ I just go back to my old footage and find that my Cranery zinnias are so original too. I will for sure pass one of her varieties because of that. I agree with you! Here is the plastic. Search this on amazon and select the size that fit your space. Thank you for another happy video! It is dreary here in southern Wisconsin and there is not much color. I have been soaking anemones and ranunculus to presprout. Also, so far I have Iceland poppies, lisianthus, pansies, violas and stock under grow lights. I am also doing winter sowing in jugs. Today, I am sowing snapdragons inside. I especially love the Potomac Appleblossom, Costa Apricot and Madame Butterfly Bronze and white varieties. Last year, I grew both the Blomma and Dawn Creek zinnias directly purchased from those two seed breeders. They were unique and special and I did save some seed. Floret offered the Unicorn zinnia a couple of years ago and I saved seed. Unicorn zinnias are very special. I would race to that part of the garden each morning to see how the colors evolve. I hope that you treat yourself to some special Floret seeds!

Thank you very much Sue. Your comment is very helpful. I think I will treat myself a little bit. They must be worth it. I have been waiting for unicorn because she skipped last year. That will be my treat. 😊🥰❤️

Great video! Thanks for the cold water basil tip, I was wondering why everyone loves to use basil, but it never worked for me. I could use some advice, I grew Rudbeckia last summer, BEAUTIFUL, but I’m doing something wrong, they were quickly wilting in the vase, what am I doing wrong?
@cranerygardens7 ай бұрын
Hi Denise! You’re very welcome! 🥰✌🏻 I should have mentioned that you should cut rudbeckias after the flowers are a little more mature and the stems are sturdy. Doing the wickle test like Zinnias. You can see in action in my Spiral Bouquet video in summer. 😊🥰❤️

I’m so frustrated and just about done with my endless summer hydrangea. They hardly bloom. I’m thinking of giving them to someone else and getting a panicle variety.
@cranerygardens7 ай бұрын
It can be the location. Would you try replant them in a different spot. Give it more sunlight and a lot of compost. Anyway, panicle is also a good choice! 🙏🏻❤️
@MonicaKatie7 ай бұрын
@@cranerygardens thanks. I’ll try compost and see if that helps. I added some compost last year but maybe it was too little. I was thinking that maybe the buds were being killed by the freezing temperatures.

I have hard time growing rudbeckia….won’t germinate
@cranerygardens7 ай бұрын
Rudbeckia seeds are viable only 2-3 years. You can try put them in freezer for 1 week before sowing them also sow extra because the germination rate might be low. Heatmat will also help. Good luck.
