Making C Tables

Ive been making these little C Tables for a while now and I decided to added a couple of new wood species. Ive added maple and unfinished poplar to the listing. Unfinished poplar is for anyone who wants to paint the tables. Poplar paints up very well and they come sanded and ready to be painted. click the link above if anyone is interested in buying them.

no I've been spraying a water base poly, its doesnt really change the color of the wood and it is a lot more durable than an oil finish.

Nice work Brain, these look great. Quick question on your clamping cauls, how are they held in place when clamping your miters, double-sided tape?

Just curious as I was thinking about this exact project. Do you think the floating tenons on a bevel will be strong enough for a weight bearing bench?

I had no problem with weight on my tables, they will flex but will break unless you put a ridiculous amount of weight on it.
