I think they are great! Could you grind the copper ones down to a uniform level?

Those look really awesome. Use tiny consistent copper bits and the white ones will look really cool too.

What a very fine project and video. How about for the lines across the middles using a piece of thin but absorbent string dipped in the underglaze and lowered onto tiles while holding each side taut? Also, glass seed beads can be used to fill the spots and they come in just about any color. I've had good success with both of these techniques. Now I'm off to buy your domino making tool kit. Thanks again for another great vid.

They look great, but the copper ones, I’m so sorry but you are so funny I nearly peed myself laughing when you uncovered them.......great stuff, keep experimenting!

Hi Justin, Those are really great! It’s pretty impressive in how you are able to get an idea and run with it. I will check your website too! Thank you for sharing your art. How about a small piece of glass instead of copper?

I do not know anything about ceramics but would like to try this. Do you think it could be done by using slip poured into a mold?

Hi Justin, I made these Mahjong medallions for sponge holders the same way with cutter and stamp combined on my Ender 3. When I depressed the stamp and picked up the unit the clay pretty well fell off. These were raw glazed and single fired using commercial brush on glazes. Link above is picture.

When you want to paint a tiny line like that, use one of your own hairs as a paintbrush. I also save any kitty whiskers I find while cleaning; they make great fine paint brushes. And a manicure dot set would make your life easier. Slumping glass frit in the dots would look really cool. You would only want to take that up to about 2000-2100°F where glass is still moving like honey, then come down slowly, over 12 hrs or so. Or find a lampworking bead artist for some barter.

Those copper ones make me think that if you just sand them down you may revive some definition to the pips.

Absolutely terrific video sistering D D D and your hand build. I don't care for the copper when fired but thought taking a strand and making a tiny wee loop with it might be less imposing than a piece of solid 14? I tried firing a piece of broken off lava rock from Lowes and it came out looking similar, sort of charred. Some folk may may really like the look. Really liked the sets with the celadon glaze. Thanks for sharing!

What kind of ceramics we can use?
@blacklion794 жыл бұрын
Looks like you have twice number of sets, almost. Standard set is pairs of 0..7 (empty, 1, 2, ..., 7) but each pair is taken only once, so 28 tiles per set, and you have many pairs repeated but no tiles with empty at all

BTW, I made some clay ornaments for Christmas and tried 3D printing the cutter and it stuck horribly. Ultimately I used a sheet metal cookie cutter and things went a lot easier.

Well the thing with the copper ones was kindda expected to be honest :)) Though i wonder if soaking them in hydrochloric acid and peroxide solution would solve that issue. None the less, the other ones came out great!
