Making Ceramics at Home 🌷pottery vlog ~ throwing mugs and bowls on a handmade wheel

How I make ceramics at home as a part-time ceramicist. I decided to make myself a full set of dinnerware/homeware. Starting off with 2 of each - mugs, bowls, side plates, and dinner plates. I also want to make other homeware pieces that are needed around the house.
I use white stoneware clay.
I will only get my fired pieces back from the kiln in a few weeks' time, I'll show glazing everything and the final products in a video to come so stay tuned!

hey! just wanted to ask how did you make your pottery wheel? i’ve been trying to get in pottery but the wheels too expensive 😢

Hi! My brother made it so I’m not 100% sure but it is essentially a wooden box with a gate motor inside - the gate motor is what turns the wheel (which is a wooden circle)
