Before you put plumbing in check you state’s cosmetic regulations. Some state require up to have a commercial kitchen to make bath bombs and lip gloss

You might be waiting a while on the green card. You could just put the business in your husband’s name to get it up sooner. Then once you get what you need, he can transfer it back to you. Just a thought! Beautiful house. I’m definitely envious! That lake is stunning.

I get sunflower oil from Walmart and it’s fairly cheap and a cheaper alternative to olive oil is canola oil 😄 give it a try!

Oh, a Basset Hound❣️ my very first ‘own’ dog was a Basset. I love them with their 10 to two Ballereina - or in Dempsey’s case ‘ballerino’ - paws 😊😊

Lovely location. My advice concentrate on one room at a time, finish it then move to the next. It is less stressful, and you get rewarded with ongoing satisfaction as each room is completed.

stunning, just stunning! you are truely talented! i have just started my own journey making candles/melts/reed & car diffusers and carpet fresheners :) i have really bad asthma and in 2017 i was diagnosed with yet an other 'lung' condittion caled COPD and have been out of employment since 2019 as i am unable to move around very much and for a customer service trained advisor, this was a death sentance for that line of work, i have not been able to find work since. in 2019 one of my sisters died unexspectedly, in 2020, my step dad died of colon cancer, in 2021 i lost my mum unexspectedly and in and in the beginning of 2022 i lost an other sister unexspectedly, 3 months later i have an emotional breakdown and almost 'clawed' my own face off, i was very lucky that my face did not scar! so it was decided by my family that i needed something to do with my time, so i was bought a horse for my birthday last year and well as you can guess, that has caused nothing but stress but i am so bonded with her that i cannot sell her on ever! so i had alway wanted to make my own candles that dont contain any paraffin products as that gives me headaches and i am so stoked that i did this as i finally found my 'happy place' when im creating my products and its all thanks to people like you who share your lifes and small business owner experiances! Thank you so much for all you do as i dont think you understand just how insperational you are to people like me! much love from the uk xxx

I have a question-I have watched soap makers, lip gloss makers, skin oil makers, ect.. I see most makers put castor oil in their lip gloss, soap, and skin oil. Castor oil promotes hair growth. I think it is best used in shampoo/conditioner/ hair oil, and lash serum. Unless I don't understand something, please let me know why makers use Castor oil in these products, or in soap, besides the fact it makes bubbles.

I was looking at the recipe in Patreon and am trying to find out more about lemonene - when I look it up, it looks like a disinfectant not necessarily a food grade ingredient can you say more about it?

Yes, I added a small bit since “limonene” (lemon extract) was listed at the very end of Herbivores ingredient list. D-limonene is an isomer of limonene (compounds with the same formula but with a different arrangement of atoms) - not quite the same but similar enough for me to include it. Limonene is a chemical found in the rind of citrus fruits. The main difference between limonene and D-limonene is you can think of d-limonene as a more processed version than limonene and can be safely used in cosmetics.

I just made a couple soaps, with some natural ingredients I made a tea with bee balm leaves and made half tea half water for the lye solution, St. John’s wort, which I found growing as well, the bee balm I made into a bath soap and at johns wort I made into a shampoo bar, they poured like dream. Yes I agree soaping is therapeutic
