@@flash001USA YES! I'm a big city girl who made her way through ending up in a ranch in Southern Brazil. Still taking a beating on growing stuff, but learning as I go. Your videos may help, thank you. One thing I'll tell ya: moving from trying homesteading in Vermont to doing it here makes you so grateful for everything. 5 months of inches of ice and snow covering the ground every year is tough. Growing season os super short! Hope you had a lovely day! 🤞💖

LOL, You're the only person that picked up on the Green Acres skit. This has been a very busy spring and summer for me this year as far as gardening goes.

Now mix in a little BioChar and BAM ! Happy garden.

That's funny you mentioned mix and biochar with it. I've been burning brush piles in my 55 gallon drum for the last couple of days and I will be using that Ash in the Garden along with whatever's leftover mixing it with the compost

Thank you, Flash001USA. In Thailand, if you are making big compost pile, you lay material down layer by layer. Carbon for one layer, nitrogen on top, layer by layer. The pile shapes like prism. Upper layer is smaller than lower ones. Soak each layer well before laying another on top. Once a week, poke holes on the pile 40-50 centimeters apart and fill them with water. The compost will be ready for use within 2 months on warm climate.

Thank you for your comment and for sharing how you make your compost too.
