Making Christmas Shavings or Birds nest material out of a wood log

Had some wood that had turner round and sealed but it checked any way and I did not want to just toss it. So using my skew I made some craft material, bird nest shaving. Created colored shaving too using dye. Great for a bed in a bowl or box to show off your eggs or other small item or as high end packing material. If done right it comes out very fine. Also it will help you with the skew skills which is always good.

It is an addiction, and probably because I always find something to do with it years later. LOL
