Making Coins for the Ferryman

I've always wanted to try desinging/casting my own metal coins. Thanks so much for all the comments on my last casting short, I've been learning a lot form the process and your advice really helped me improve my process.

Hey Knarb, love your stuff. So I'm the guy who made R.O.M.E. for IWC and I've been designing some models for the faction in blender. I got a Elegoo Mars 2 pro to print them out and did some test prints, during which the LCD got coated in cured resin because of a crack in the tank. Whilst trying to replace it I accidentally chipped the tempered glass underneath. I've had trouble finding a replacement for the tempered glass, any advice?

Oh, hey dude! Bummer about the printer, that's like the worst case scenario :( Can't really give good advice here unfortunately, but try reaching out to Elegoo directly and see if they can send you something! Their support is pretty good from my personal experience.

I think you misunderstood the myth. The dead can't pay the ferryman on their own since they're dead. They need someone to place coins on their eyes or body after they die to pay the ferryman. The point is to say that you need to be a decent person so that others will be there to help you when you can't help yourself. if you're a bad person, then no one will put coins on your dead body and thus you'll be a ghost or something.

did you use an extra step or a special silicone? because normally resin products would stop the silicone from curing

Depends on the silicone. Platinum based silicones are inhibited by the sulfur from the resin, but tin cured silicone like Oomoo should work pretty well.
