Really enjoyed your video. Have a couple of questions. What was your honey to starter ratio? How many days to set after the multi day mixing. Thanks.
@imkereimichaelullmann1 Жыл бұрын
Hello, there was about 20kg of honey and 0.5kg of starter honey. It is very difficult to say how long it takes for the honey to set, it depends on the type of honey. When the honey gets a pearly sheen, it should be filled into jars.

I've watched this in the not so long ago past in german, I really didn't understand anything aside from what I could see, now with this genius idea to narrate it in English, I can understand much more of the process you applied; I was born in Romania, in a village with majority german population, I learned from a very young age the discipline of german approach to everything, I have great respect for german folks; very nice job, I only stirred my honey cream twice, but from now on I will do it least 3times or more until I get that pearly shine. God Bless. Dan from USA

I am about to start a small creamed honey business on my own. I have tried to add different nuts to the honey and it tastes just wonderful. However, after a few days, all the nuts content comes to the surface. Is there any trick to prevent that? Should the nuts maybe be added after the honey is set or at what stage? I have also tried with vanilla seed and they also get to the top.

Good for you starting a business! Are you adding like pieces of nuts or ground? I add cinnamon to my creamed honey and it sometimes rises but for the most part stays mixed well. Would you be able to ground up the nuts into a powder? Just a thought ☺️ How do you make your creamed honey? I honestly just blend raw honey straight from the hive with a mixer for like 15-20 minutes let it sit for a little bit then add the cinnamon and mix for another 20-30 minutes. Good luck!

I have started the process. I am making two 1 pound jars to start with. I am on day two and have mixed the jars 4 times, twice each day. My question is, once I have stirred it twice for 4 days, how do I store it to set-up? I have read that it needs to be put at 57 degrees Fahrenheit to set-up. Thoughts? Thank you!
@imkereimichaelullmann14 жыл бұрын
I store it at about 74° Fahrenheit, when it´s too cold white suger stripes will form between the glass and the honey. Greetings Mike

Vielen Dank für das Video. Kurze Frage, Sie haben ein kleines Glas creamed Honig verwendet um den großen Eimer zu impfen. Muss man ein gewisses Ratio einhalten. Wieviel creamed honey zu flüssigem? Danke.
@imkereimichaelullmann14 жыл бұрын

Hi, the creamed honey is not always withe. It changes with the sorts and the mix. I store it at Roomtemperatur, about 22°C If IT IS colder, it will form white blum like structures. What do you mean by polyphlour?

Other videos I have watched all use 10% seed creamed honey. You didn't seem to use anywhere near that amount. Also your honey being decanted was therefore more runny and un-creamed look. Plus your jars crystalized much faster. Can you explain how and why. Thanks in anticipation.
