OH MY GOSH! Crysta looks gorgeous! If you want to give Crysta's face & hair another try fill free, use acrylic yarn that matches her hair. As any dolls artist like Hextian or Dollightful. I love Ferngully, I used to watch it many times when I was a kid. Can you imagine if Hextian made Crysta?

I totally love Ferngully! And yes, save the planet was a major thing in the 90's. Just a suggestion in place of epoxy, I use something called Polyplastic. They are tiny beads that you heat up and can sculpt it and hardens within minutes. The downside is that you don't have long to sculpt. For my dolls, it works fine because I like more organic shapes. I also have an easy diy fairy wing tutorial using different methods other than wire and celo as I can't seem to get the hang of those materials myself. She turned out great!! I just heard about these barbie besties this past weekend. So cute!

Happy to see Ferngully getting some love! I wore that VHS out and also, "Some Other World" by Elton John during the ending credits is woefully slept on. It slaps!! I know you had some struggles but I think she looks super sweet! Tip for future? You didn't ask but I will wince and say it anyway...save the length of doll hair you cut off, try to make a doll wig cap? Or wepts from black brushed out yarn? The stiffness of yarn might help with the hold for a more pixie cut shape. Sometimes they just put kinks in the factory hair that WILL NOT come out.
