Im 16 and I've been looking at the sds armor, but im worried about my height. Im currently sitting at 6'2, and I dont know if im too tall or what I should do...whats the height limit? Been a huge fan of the channel ever since you modified your armor, and that has inspired me to get my own. I already own the sds e-11 blaster, so Im just missing the main thing. xD

@@cornucopia4074 Clamshell style works best. Each Gaunt should be two pieces held together by a hinge. Try using a drinking glass to form the sintra around it. It will make the pieces match up perfect, and tends to bevel the same shape as most wrists into the forearm.

Ace! As a fellow builder/ Vlogger I can't tell you how happy I am to see you wearing that respirator when heating that plastic armor! Too many people don't or they use the wrong type of mask and risk serious injury to their lungs because the fumes released interact with the moisture in your lungs and create hydrochloric acid. BTW, what did you think of my first attempt at creating resin Crimson Watch badges. I was glad to see him use it on the belt.

cosplay is tough im making my 3rd ever cosplay out of foam and i am almost finished with my mandolorian helmet but the t shape looked more like the top of the pie symbol. So after a tun of exacto knife cuts and sanding it finally looked presentable! great job on the armour cant wait to watch more of your videos!!!

I'm running a star wars tabletop roleplaying game (D&D basically) soon, and I've designed an interesting set of mando armor for an NPC. Her family was half imperial on their mother's side and half mando on the fathers. The father was a Imperial Super commando as seen in star wars rebels, and the mother was an imperial agent. While the mandalorians half of the family was loyal to the empire, that loyalty was DESTROYED by the great purge talked about in The Mandalorian TV show. This character, has taken her father's imperial super commando armor, and mixed it with the more traditional mando armor, she has the faceplate of the ISC, modified onto a normal mando helmet for instance. The face of the armor has the mando skull painted onto it, to show that their ties to the empire are gone, and while she is honoring her father, their family ties now lie squarely with mandalore

You can get the Same paint chip effect with Vaseline. It’s a lot cheaper.

james morgan liquid latex isn’t expensive and a bottle of it lasts for ages. Also don’t want to spend time trying to clean off Vaseline if you’re doing multiple paint layers. Gonna get all smeary

Mando skull = Mythosaur skull. Next time use a heat gun on the glue. Just make sure to have it on the lowest setting. It should, if done correctly, melt the glue without warping the plastic of the gun.

It’s called FOAMEX, it’s a brand of PVC foam. It’s as malleable as foam, but also very hard. But wear a respirator when you heat form it, and do it in a very, very well ventilated area or outside. The fumes from when it is heated up can do serious lung damage
