Beautiful ❤️ After making the mold, should I leave the room with plastic covering the top, or put it in the freezer? After cutting the soap, should it be left for three weeks and then used or used immediately? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cover my soap with a lid and blanket after I pour it. Then it cures for 4-6 weeks

Hello - I was inspired by your soap and bought the supplies but am wondering if you have the recipe listed somewhere. Thank you!

you could try using sodium lactate or adding salt to your lye water... Soap Queen has some great advice for soap issues, check her out.

Ellen, what do you use the Tussah Silk fibres for? What does it do to the soap? I'm new to soapmaking and curious lol. Your videos and soaps are beautiful. I'm enjoying watching them. Thank you

Glad you're here, and thanks for watching 🥰 the silk literally adds a silky feel to the lather, and it brings a sheen to the soap.

Hey Ellen I’ve been making soap for years and yesterday I made watermelon and it seized I’ve only had a cinnamon gingerbread seize and this watermelon all my years making. Have you made watermelon and did it seize? Know the oils are poring to the top it’s weird I’m hoping I can save it for laundry soap but I’m not sure yet today’s unmolding so I can see the damage. Oh and I got different mica from a different place and it keeps changing color once mixed in never had that happen either what do you think? I value your opinions.

I've never made a watermelon scent before. But I have had random batches seize on me, it's so frustrating... I do like you, and try to use it for laundry soap, or rebatch the whole thing in the crock pot.
