Is there any logic to how you laid out the different volcas? I usually have my drums to the left, then bass, then keys on the right and mixers closest to me

Yeah sort of. The middle row are my melodic makers, each receiving note midi from the 4 channels on the keystep pro with independant channels on the mixer for FX. Bottom row is drums group naturally, all going into a mix and into on channel on the mix. And top row is 'incedentals', the ones I don't use so often (Mod, Kick, Melodic Sampler) going into a mix and then into one channel on the Mackie mixer. Bottom two rows are clock synced via midi, the top rows require the little sync cables and manually push play etc
