I have been doing this for the last few years, but I just use coconut oil. I never heard of making it with tallow. Very interesting!

I commend you for eschewing toxic commercial deodorants. I stopped using anything at all nearly half a century ago. I perspired profusely for two or three weeks. It was acrid smelling like stress sweat. Probably detoxing from the deodorant. Then it stopped. I use nothing. I don't sweat much and I don't stink.

I've tried and tried to either use only baking soda or nothing at all... and I STINK!! And I mean super bad! What is the answer?!

@@stacystepp7914 I add tea tree oil. You can add lavender too or what ever oil you want. Did you also add arrowroot?

@@thepickincoopfarmstead No actually I've been using plain baking soda only. Obviously that doesn't do the trick on these powerful pits haha. I guess I need to give this recipe a try:)

@@clairequinn8665 Hi Claire. I’m not sure if it would work in this particular recipe. You could try it. I would add a little more beeswax as lard is softer than tallow ❤
