@LauraBidingCitizenАй бұрын
Don’t know why people are ripping her?! Food is food at the end of the day. She had 100 hungry people to feed, clean plates, & all seemed content. 100 people to cater for on your own is absolutely insane. When I have my eldest brother, sister in law, niece, nephew, his fiancé and father over at Christmas for the day, I’m disabled.. I wouldn’t be able to feed them, but I put on a buffet. Some stuff is handmade because I enjoy baking / cooking, the rest is from the freezer, it all gets eaten and they enjoy it all. I make my own salad, fruit salad, desserts, sausage rolls, sandwiches & fillers, quiche, but I buy a frozen pizza and add additional toppings, some spring (egg) rolls, etc. I don’t feel shame. It still puts me in bed for a week in agony but it’s worth it. We should be grateful we have any opportunity to feed others, many don’t around the world.
@fraserpaulinaАй бұрын
Look at her house. She’s loaded with money. She could have paid a reputable restaurant to cater, and hosted her guests with a proper meal rather than serving microwaveable lunch trays.
@LauraBidingCitizenАй бұрын
@@fraserpaulina lol you absolutely can’t judge someone’s finances by their surroundings. How do you know they own that house? How do you know what’s going on in their personal lives financially? It costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to cater for over 100+ people. I saw clean trays. People were fed. Perhaps stop being entitled.
@fraserpaulinaАй бұрын
@@LauraBidingCitizen If it costs thousands to cater, and you’re not financially able to cover the expenses, don’t host. It’s not forced. Either serve your loved ones a proper meal, or come to the realization that you can’t cook - nor afford it - and move on. Let somebody who IS capable of cooking, or willing to shell out the funds host instead. It’s disrespectful to the guests who brought a bottle of wine or contributed with their own dish, to be invited to a dinner party and served microwaveable trays off paper plates. Host with culture and standards, or not at all.
