I’ve seen a few videos on this and the buttons looked kinda small especially the ones on the bottom, but when you picked it up and held it like a gameboy it kinda made sense in terms of button size and usability. and the beat was 🔥! Great showcase of what it can do.

Nice work. Reminds me of the Roland MS-1 I had in the late 90's. Changing the sample rate definetly gives the sound a grimey texture. How do u like the sequencer on that joint? I assume u can turn off quantization??

i hated it first, bit the further i get past the painful learning curve, the more i love it. I use BANK A to hold a LOT of drums. A1 has several kiks on it (in chops/slices -- accessed thru keyboard mode), then on A2 i have several snare samples, etc... bank has tons of samples in it rather than just 6.

That beat was hard. Were you running the p6 through the sx compressor with the fx limit on? I got the sx and the og but never liked the compressor on the sx but I never tried it with fx limit on yet since I just use the og 404 for that

There’s no memory card slot for external storage. But you can backup the samples and patterns onto your computer using the usb cable

There’s a way, you’ll just be limited to six pads or you can sync the bpm and grid chop multiple pads

Sometimes when I chop it , instead of chopping it just keeps the beginning of the sample on the keyboard. Do you know why that would be?

Not full length beats it can store a bunch of different four bar loops that you can tie together and create a beat. But you’ll need something to record the arrangement because the P6 isn’t capable of sequencing and storing a full length beat.
