NICE! I'm demolishing my front steps - first pouring in 1914, and patched 2-3 times since. Some very poorly done. Just yesterday, I started thinking about making a small tool such as this for the job. I've got pretty much everything you are using here. I pays to keep as much 'junk'/'scrap' parts as possible :) I see way too many people (even supposed pros) who don't know or care to properly vibrate concrete when pouring. Thanks for posting this.

@@BalkanHandyman It should be noted, you can vibrate the air out of concrete ,which weakens it. Great Idea
