Been using , growing , sawing BL for years. Amazing stuff. FWI , most of the world grows BL on purpose. We pay farmers to grow corn and beans so we can have fat kids.

Hope the fence posts last. Tried locust and cedar in Alabama and both rotted as quick as treated. Does depend on climate though and your winters might help. Thanks for the cant hook! Awesome!

Locust is the most dense wood in North America. They can regrow from their own stumps. White oaks usually grow in sand beds.

I’m wondering if this is the best process for fence posts. Squaring them makes the fence post less sound strength wise but might be helpful be stripping off the less rot resistant sapwood.

Any channels you suggest for more sawmill action?

Ignitiong8gt Out of the Woods, NorthWest Sawyer, Outdoors with Morgan’s, and Stoney Ridge just picked up a Woodmizer but he hasn’t made any videos yet. It should be interesting watching him learn the ropes.

I think you’re wasting your time with the locust. They won’t last any longer than treated four by fours.
