This cartoon shows remarkable potential. It is clearly made with a shoe-string budget towards a target audience that is too young for them to go all out. If this show was given a higher budget and an older target audience, it could very well be one of the mainstream cartoons with those huge fandoms, like Adventure Time or Steven Universe or Gravity Falls.

Now, if they decide to do a remake if making fiends, I would like them to recreate Charlotte in a way that's keeps her positive personality but she'd be more grounded. Like, she should actually pay attention to how dreary the town is and make her a little more firm with her personality.

Ren and Stimpy wasn't beloved by parents when it came out Nickelodeon got a lot of slack because of the shows grotesque nature. The only reason Ren and Stimpy stayed as long as it did was because of how influential it was. Very few kids saw making fiends let alone their parents even then making fiends is way more tame compared to Ren and Stimpy and Invader Zim neither of which were cancelled due to parents complaints.

I remember when this cartoon first came out, I was about 9 or 10 at the time I think, & really enjoyed the concept of these two polar opposite girls. Now, watching at 18, it's even more interesting to me. I've always found the way Charlotte annoys Vendetta very entertaining, and how even though Charlotte is depicted as the typical sweet and innocent girl, she doesn't seem to be as fearful as the other people in town of Vendetta's antics.
