I swear I felt those last few sentences so much. I can't tell how often I was freaked out because there was no way something worked (for example because I commented out that code path) and it still does. But even if its not that extreme and you totally expect something to break and it doesn't its a really uneasy feeling.

You should copy the velocity of the original cube into the fractured pieces when you click on it, then they wouldn't stop weirdly in the sky.
@vakqdev3 жыл бұрын
maybe also add an explosive force to all of the fractured pieces starting from the point where you clicked to add some extra OOMPH

I think he doing that deliberately? To me, that slow effect kind of cool.

I think that when he shoots at them, it applies a force in the direction of the hit, so it slows them down since they come from the opposite direction
@MusicForLifePL203 жыл бұрын
@@mind.journey I understand what you mean, but that's definitely not the case, because even when he hits them from the side, they clearly just stop and gain velocity from the gravity forces. So it's not countering.

Hey Cherno, engine is starting to look real professional ! You said you had no reason to switch to VS2022, but it integrated support for C++ and .NET hot reload right into the IDE, so it might improve your workflow while changing small features in Hazel. Something to think about. Keep up the good work, looking forward to see this Hazel FPS !

This is pretty good for having done it yourself......but you are about 10-20 years behind the industry. Somehow you have to accelerate your progress.
