Her moms hands remind me of my mother and her mothers hands. Im adopted, my moms side was puerto rican, and she was the first to leave her country to move to the usa. One of my best memories with my mom is holding her hands, how soft and silky they were. I always loved her pigmentations and she adopted me older. She was self concious of her her skin, but i always saw the hard work in her soft wrinkles at 45.

I still find myself wandering back to your channel from time to time. My family is from a different culture than yours (food and location wise in the least), and yet something about your cooking videos seems so familiar and comforting, like the warm feeling you get in your chest when you are served fresh warm food. My family has mostly lost connection to our roots, only having a few old recipie cards to keep the connection alive.
