Can your remake these again? I loved this soap. You should make them into shower pucks. Rosemary and mint are awesome for helping clear out a stuffy nose.

Ellen Ruth Soap do you put the soap in the freezer? I’ve been told that the milk will cause the soap to heat up and that it needs to be cooled. Thx

I love this soap idea. I use frozen raw goat milk but I’ve been wanting to try the half milk half water lye solution. Do you have any videos that show what that process is like?

Really loving your videos Ellen! The information you are sharing is top-notch. I would suggest you link your shop here on KZbin. Also, why not film from a top angle and in 1080p resolution? I'm sure the perspective will be beautiful to look at while you prepare soap recipes. Lots of love ♥️

I’m laughing because I was going to tell you that you could also infuse your soft oils with actual Rosemary and mint for another layer of soft fragrance. But then I remembered how you said you were impatient! It also seems to add a beautiful silkiness to the oil. I’ve always got lavender, rosemary or chamomile sitting around my house in jars infusing into olive oil so it takes the waiting out of the equation. I’ve not had the best results with the few fragrances I tried from that company but in fairness to them, I’ve only tried a few and it’s been a while. I tend to lean towards Wholesale Supply Plus or Nature’s Garden.

Oh my goodness!! this was the perfect video for me today! I made my very first batch of soap Sunday and I received my soap stamp today! I will try spritzing alcohol next time. Thanks for the link to Gabor. He made my personal stamp so fast!! Plus he shipped it Friday from Hungary and I received it Wednesday in Colorado! I was paranoid about scorching my goat milk, so I used frozen cubes and also put it in an ice bath LOL. It took about 15-20 minutes to stir it all in. BUT my lye temperature only reached 68 degrees 🤷🏼‍♀️. My oils were 85 degrees. So I ended up heating it in the microwave for a few seconds until it reached 85 degrees. It seemed fine but my FO accelerated a bit so I had more of a thick trace when I started to pour, but I hanger swirled anyway. It was in a tall skinny silicone mold. I read that some people put the GM soap in the freezer the first 24 hours, so I did that. Do you put yours in the freezer? After the first 24 hours in the freezer, I let it sit out at room temperature for 48 hours. It came out of the mold easy. I cut it tonight. It was formed, but such a soft bar. I stamped right away and tried to use the peeler, but it was so soft that I stopped trying to trim. I'll try to trim in the morning. Hopefully it'll work better for me. How long do you usually wait to unmold and cut? Wish I knew how I could show a pic on here. Anyway, I like the way it came out. Oh, I also used the steamer to help shine up the bars 👍 Thank you for all the help you give out in your videos! It's sure appreciated!!!

Good afternoon, those are pretty. I’m partial to that green. I did rosemary and sage I put in the coffee grinder. With a dark and light green. I out did myself that day. I messed it up the next day it was swimming in oil. But that’s another conversation. I’ll try again one day. I used the rosemary and sage from my garden. I’ve never used it with mint. So is that a unisex soap. I really want to try it. I enjoy all of your videos. Thank you and have an awesome day
