This is the eighth episode of a new series I am putting together where I will look at ways to make millions of coins in New World.
Episode 8 sees me looking at how to make money by soloing bosses without luring them into a glitch. There's multiple different bosses with what they drop, so you can choose which one to grind based on the price the item they drop goes for on your server.

Thanks. (: If you haven't tried mage in the game, it is actually really fun. People always talk down on Firestaff/Ice Gaunts, but it has the perfect mix of dps and defensive skills, it's really made me enjoy the combat so much more than when I was playing bruiser.

If you upgrade the gear it binds to you. So if its a named 590+ BoE item you can just sell as if it was legendary.

Nice video, dude! there is a boss called fay the last protector, he drops chef pants and a decent rapier too there are also resources in the area and your respawn is very quick. Thx for the contents!

When you got more than 3 groups, the drop chance will be lower, if you got more than 5 groups, good luck getting a bag. The best farming groups should not be more than 2. I am a collector myself, I got 90% of all named drops in the open world.

Thanks for the info. That must have taken a lot of time to get that much drops. But if there's 5 people hitting on a boss, but they are not in a group, the same rule applies?

@@NewbWorld np I have been playing since day 1 and just like to collect every thing haha. Yup so need to invite those adding a tag to the boss to be in a same group. If 5 people hitting the boss but they are not in a group then the game will register it as 5 tags= 5 groups farming the boss. If those 5 people stay in a group, it will only count as 1 group hitting the boss.

Im trying the first boss, with full luck gear, because the drops are 1-3k on my server. But im an hour in , and no drop from the crocodile or from the guy :D This is very rng, i think i'll stick to the lumbering method, and i only do this if i have other activities :c

Damn, that's weird. They always drop so many for me. I dunno if you saw the Boss Battles episode of them, but I got so many named drops. They set the record for the series of named drops in 50 kills. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5C2h39rhM6hsKM

I might just unlucky, because the math checks out, i got like 6 named item in like 12-15 kill, but none of them was sellable, they were weapons. So if they sharing the drop rate, this could happen. I can test it during work, bc im in Home office :D But it is very annoying if the purple/named drop can be a crazy good 3k gold item, or a salvagable trash.

Always check your tp before a grind.... lots of these I still need just to craft with tradeskills most effectively. I'll only grind if roi is good.

Yea, sometimes the items are better to just buy if they are cheap in your server, unless you're an ironman or something. It is fun to grind bosses for certain items though, feels good when they drop. :P

True. Maybe they need to explain it all a bit more. I started flagging for a series, and since I just left it on cuz it isn't as crippling as a thought it would be. Maybe I'm wrong, but when I first started playing, I was under the impression that you couldn't fast travel with it on, but that's not the case. Maybe if more people know the specifics, they'd be willing to flag up when they are just running around.

It's just a regular house in Everfall, it just looks different because I built a staircase up to the roof and made a little patio up there. I will do a house tour soon. Be warned though if you do this, you will most likely use all your furniture limit doing so, so the inside of the house will look rather bare. (:

Good video. Killed that Sesa mob like 50+ times. Only got one of the boots. Then found out it only sells for 400g not anything even close to 8k. Womp womp.

Oof, yea, you for sure gotta check the prices first. On my server cauliflower is still 18 gold per and how I make a lot of money, but I went to try it on my alt's server and it goes for 2 coins ea. xD Makes it really hard to make money makers for the game, maybe they can do like a cross server trade post, that could help. As for Sesa it's hit and miss for me, sometimes I go ages dry, then some times it's back to back drops.

was this on a legacy server? ive farmed 2 of the spots the one in eden and reek and im having no luck with drops with a full set of luck flagged. Unless these drops are different on fss

Yea, sometimes you can go really dry, that's when it's nice to be grinding a boss with a few resources around him for some guaranteed profits. I don't even use luck gear and I still manage to get decent money with these bosses. I am in Orofena.

Yea expansion changes everything. Some bosses still very profitable, or some great to grind for stuff like artifacts, but you gotta look on NW database to see their drops.

On your opinition what is the best money metod?

It would be hard to say for you, you'd have to look on the trade post and see which item sells for the most in your server. For me it's either Sesa or Mordici. Sesa is nice because even if you go dry in drops, you can gather the high level resources around him and make a steady profit. Same for Mordici, even if you're really un-lucky, every 100 kills you can one of those Seals which sells for over 7k in my server, so they have safety nets.

Good point. I just tried, and yes, any umbral shards used on an item makes it bound. Was wondering why all the named items on the market were 590 instead of 600.

I was confused why u say in the video that if other come that its better coz faster boss kill and still gets a bag, what is bs ( I bet its known thing since day 1). every team, doesnt matter many in it get a % for a drop on kill and is cut for every team tagging the boss. I tried even on my server to explain this to solo boss farmers but apperrently nobody knows about this

True, but if you get them in your group, it's tagged as one group. If they don't group up it's a lower %.

He can be a bit of a pain, but once you get used to it he's not so bad, but for sure set up a camp outside in-case. Sometimes if you drag him outside you can die and spawn before his health resets too.
