For some reason, my photoshop doesn't have all those textures/patterns yours has. I have water, trees, and grass. I've tried googling it and I'm not having any luck. Hi David, thank you for your video. Question, what do you use (shortcut?) to get an alternative style for a letter while you are typing while using the type tool? I'm using CC2020 and for me it shows alternatives while hovering over a letter after having selected a letter. I like shortcuts so hence my question. I tried looking it up but could not find it so quickly. Thanks.

With this font, uppercase is the alternate, lowercase the standard. With other fonts you can use the glyph tool to find all the alternate letters.

What version of Photoshop do you use to have access to the font effects? I use Clip Studio Paint and I can't find any of the same kinds of effects here and I was just curious

Standard CC version (I don't remember the version number) should have all of this.

This is a free font. You can get it from 1,001 fonts.

Nope. I do it all in photoshop. You can even edit paths there, but if I were doing stuff like making my own logos or drop caps (which I have done for some books) I might use it for that step. These are standard fonts.

You're not going to see any pixels above 300 DPI, which is the max to printer can do. I usually make my document 600 DPI. All of the text effects are rastered anyway.
