I am not a guitar player or a woodworker. I watch videos like this because I work in human rights and it helps me decompress. Just 6k subs and you went to all that trouble? Damn dude - I hope your channel does really well soon from this - this kind of hard work deserves recognition. As a person from the UK it blows my mind how casual people in the US are about driving long distance, you can get from one end of our country to the other in about 12 hours. My brother who lives in the US "casually" offered to drive a 30 hour round trip to get me from Ohio where I was with friends for Thanksgiving, to NYC where he lives for the Xmas holidays. I was like "you're nuts, I'll take an Amtrack" which at 15 hours was the LONGEST single journey I've ever taken in my life - and have to say I enjoyed it. Edit - what's that guitar music near the end - it's so soothing and relaxing - I could listen to that for hours.
@TheWoodenHobbyistАй бұрын
Hard work and dedication is the route I’m taking! And yes we’re crazy with our driving and by no means did either my buddy Sean nor I believe this was just a casual drive 😂 luckily the American West is absolutely beautiful to drive through.
@gilbertgrenier4896Ай бұрын
Like you, I admire dedication and passion. My son did something similar a couple weeks ago driving from Montreal Canada to St-Louis Missouri to get a bike fitting jig he couldn’t find anywhere. Did the round trip over 4 days and he was so pumped about the whole thing, went straight to install it in his shop. That being said, I agree, that king of workmanship deserve recognition, this is amazing work. I just subscribed and I hope your channel grows beyond your wildest dream (which, I guess, must be pretty wild..!!)

Stunning pair of guitars. The nods to Blacktail (another channel I watch way too much of) is well incorporated. A subtle "If you know, you know". 100% with you on throwing the rule book away on having only one focus for the finished guitar like the top. I want to say "oh, that's cool" at least a dozen times when looking at a guitar. Yep - second bandsaw is not overkill - go for it. Same with the clamps - you can NEVER have too many - plus it'll help when you are making multiple guitars. On the PVA - I've been watching YT builders for quite a long time now - and no reports of it failing. Even with the bigger Luthiers like Crimson guitars, so I think you're safe. Masking tape ASMR is my favorite Serotonin rush after a long session of fret level/ crown/ polish. If you have trouble finding your p-hole - perhaps go see a Dr. Love to join the giveaway - but shipping to Australia may be too much. Hope the winner loves it and hands it down through the generations.
@TheWoodenHobbyistАй бұрын
Thanks a lot! If I had the space, I would’ve already gotten the second bandsaw lol as far as shipping to Australia, we will be doing another custom build giveaway around February and it’ll be shipping worldwide! So stay tuned! And thanks a lot for your input!

Been watching Blacktail for a few years and seeing what you made with his wood is impressive, well done.

Great job! The attention to details, especially the denim dust is just phenomenal. Can't wait to see what you build next.

What an amazing build. Your voiceovers were spot on, but I loved the satisfying work on the lathe 25:28 . I think Cam should be proud.

First time here, I guess the algorithm found you, but this is one time I am very happy about it. You are creating pieces of art that create pieces of art, and that is very cool and satisfying to watch.
