Considering how simple your workshop seems to be (old vice, files, hand drill, hack saw), the results are beautiful. Your engraving makes the simplest projects perfect.

Nice work Uri. If those Aluminium tubes are too flexible you can try to insert a square piece of wood into them. That might stiffen it up some.

Another wonderful project Uri 👌 It's a shame the aluminium isn't rigid enough, but for what the clamps lack in strength, they more than make up for in beauty 😀👍

Beautiful pieces of working that are also functional. Beautiful pieces of working that are also functional. Did you think to do a box of tools with style this way?
@prelibation3 жыл бұрын
Nice work! Better to use silver solder to join parts as your clamp screw. Not only stronger, but blends nicely. By applying the correct amount you can get a nice fillet that makes it look like one part.

Really cool! How much pressure could the clams produce?
@urituchmanpigeon6 жыл бұрын
Chair Duke thanks! For the time being the pressure the clamps can produce is equivalent to banding the aluminium bar, once I replace it with a brass bar it should produce as much pressure as your hands can turn it.
