Is it WGM pacific locomotive for metric gauge of Indian Railway, like the "Maharadjah palace Express"" ? Wonderful Sir, but you use cardboard, or plastic sheet ? Is it a model to One scale gauge ? This model possible motorized ? Thank you for resdponse and friendly from France.

Its model of old YP class 4-6-2 steam locomotive which was meter gauge track. This is 1:28 scale model. It is already motorised. Main material is paper based cardboard called mount board 1mm thick, then form sheet of 5mm thick. Please watch other videos where you can see motor working. Thank you so much for the comment.🙂

how do you solve the problem when going into curves? Will the axles last glued like this?

Small curves it will go through. Not really calculated the radius though. In real loco, there will not be flanges in the middle set of wheels which will again help running in less radius curves. Axles are good enough actually

You can try Johnson Geared Motor. They are DC geared motor with very low rpm. High torque also.

Amazing! Just one question... do the drive wheels have a lateral play to negotiate curves? Also, if the can move sides ways, then how does the wheel cranks and coupling rods accomodate this movement? Do we need to have a axle centering spring mechanism to avoid hunting?

They does not have lateral play. In real the middle wheels will not have flange. So the whole set can move along the curves smoothly. As this is model i just kept the flanges. I will be trying in a curved track and if there is any issue then i will try remove the flanges for the middle wheels. Thanks a lot
