Making Hat Pins and Beaded Stick Pins

I put a cap or something under the glue tube opening to catch the goo. Then close the tube and use a toothpick dipped into the glue and paint onto the pin. Great video.

I don't do that, and, after many years, have also learned how not to make a mess with it 🤣🤣🤣. At least I finally learned? Tfw 💞

I have now seen E6000 in smaller tubes, I think for the crafter of small items this might actually lend itself to less frustration.

Very beautiful! I never thought of making those! Although I had some that I bought and hung up some kitchen curtains and gathered them on both sides and put a pretty one in the middle of both sides! Looks nice! Sorry about the person that answered rudely… if I got a present I would say they are beautiful and then think of how I would use them! Especially since it was handmade!🙏❤️🌷🕊🌹🌸🦋

I use super glue and if you want to take the top off of the pin that it came on, just put your heatgun on it for a minute and it will come right off. I've also just started putting resin in between beads and putting the light on it for a little bit. If you have a piece of styrofoam or a ball of it, etc, just stick your finished pin in there to dry:-))

Gosh, I get my beads from so many places. I'm thinking that I got those off of Etsy, though I'm not 100% sure. They may also be from Amazon, a craft store or a thrift shop. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I have so many beads, it's hard to remember where I get them all. Tfw ❣️

What they said was quite rude and ungrateful, "what do you use them for???" Lol, well it's like a pin, you could put it in a hat, a coat., a scarf... I customise dolls and doll size clothes and I use them in hats or hair do to add a little something. They didn't deserve them lol. As a crafter they coulda found something crafty to use a stick pin on.... Some ppl huh. I'd be well chuffed if I got given one, I'd of just put it in a cushion to look nice, or said aw thank you if I'd been given something. Lol.

Yes, I put them in my dolls hair too. I have a very pretty lace n ribbon heart-shaped pin cushion & I like to keep a few in it, just because they look so lovely on my craft table.

Quel dommage de coller les perles 🤥c'est tellement mieux quand elles "vivent"..... pour les faire tenir il suffit de mettre une "perle à sertir "que l'on ferme avec une pince et c'est beaucoup plus propre que de coller 😔....
