We always raked 3 rake swaths together and the last baler would have handled it the first looked smaller, u boys will be in good shape for football

It's a CCM 165 drum mower and the tractor's a JD 4105 that is 33 hp at the pto. Thanks for watching - Everett

@@TwoFarmBoys I just bought the mower brand new in September I had one just like it years ago and it did the same thing oh, it's not the end of the world LOL but it's something when you look across the field and see all the strips are grass LOL

Was that a turkey or a grouse? I like the side rake, it's all I ever got to use and mine had steel wheels. Those little bales looked like good feed. Don't fret about what you video. We will watch anything that is part of what you do. Getting the job done and recording it is quite a job. I'm subbing you because your operation looks interesting. Good video. Peace.

Thank you! It was a turkey. Those rakes do a very good job of flipping the windrows and helping to dry the hay. They're certainly not fast, but don't need a pto, low hp requirements, very simple mechanically, and are very affordable. I'm actually talking about raking with the truck and baling with the tractor at the same time this year. Thanks for watching and God bless - Everett

It is a thin crop of grass and I would have stopped to check that the bird didn't have a nest and the bales are too soggy!!

Yes, I need to do some work to the soil in that field. The bales were more than dry enough. I didn't hear any eggs go through the mower or see any in the bales. - Everett
